About Us
Don Carlos Mexican Restaurant is one of the best family-owned Mexican Restaurants in Houston & Waco, serving delicious Tex-Mex cuisine since 1986. We love to welcome our new and regular customers to provide great customer service and a tasty experience. In 1986, two Greek brothers, Christos and Gerry Stathatos, had a passion to achieve the American dream one plate of food at a time. From immigrants to businessmen, the two brothers opened their first restaurant in the heart of Houston’s East End to serve the hardworking people of the city. Later expanding to their second location near Hobby Airport in 1994, and their third location in Waco, Texas in 2009, their drive to provide every customer a quality plate of food has not ceased.
